Local artists

The Roaring Fork Valley, especially Glenwood Springs, has become a great place to find aspiring artists and some well known names. The beautiful location really draws a lot of creative minds here. For the aspiring artist, Colorado Mountain College offers an extensive offering for courses in that area. The Glenwood Art Council also showcases local art to promote aspiring artists. Due to all this, Glenwood is becoming a haven for the artistically inclined.

Provides an array of programs in the Arts for people of all ages. Classes are offered for the beginning to advanced student in dance, visual arts, ceramic arts, piano, guitar, voice, theater, silversmithing, plus a variety of workshops and more!

Every one to two months, the Center for the Arts features new exhibits of local, national, and international artists, in a variety of art forms. Two thousand people visit the gallery each year.

Center hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and weekends, 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
